OK, so I am sitting here wondering what to do. The mama and sisters are coming to town for our annual Christmas Cookie baking weekend. We have so much fun. Everyone stays at Sheree's house for the weekend and we cook and bake and play with the babies. Looking forward to all the fun!!!

A Beautiful Day

I am sitting in my backyard, conversing with my daughter via internet. Its sunny and a bit chilly and its fresh air!!! Which I do not get enough of. Rick is pouring cement and I am watching. I keep asking if he needs my help, but the answer is always "no". OK, I am good with that!!! I should be doing housework or grocery shopping or some weekend chore but I just don't want to. I used to be so anal about my house being clean and perfect - I could care less now. Don't get me wrong -I (we) vacuum and dust and try to make sure the toilet is clean. My bed used to get made every day - now I am lucky if its done once a week - ugh. My point is, life really is too short to be cleaning and doing chores and worrying about what others think!!!

Where is my light

I really hate the time change. I wake up, go to work, come home go to bed. I rarely see the light of day!!! I feel like I am in hibernation.

Well, nothing much happening. Its Friday and the weekend - woo hoo!!! I have been pretty busy this past week. Went to a fundraiser at the Firehouse on Thursday night - put a silent bid on a golfing package for my honey and won!!! He loved it. On Saturday, I am going to the General Produce party and then to a dance show - pretty full day tomorrow - I am told I will be eating and drinking all day.
